Privacy policy

Updated 28 October 2026. This policy describes information processed by BundleTally Price Sync and its public support pages.

Who provides the service

Shop information and authentication

After installation, BundleTally uses Shopify authentication to identify the shop and verify requests. It processes the shop domain and identifier, API permissions, and access/refresh tokens needed to communicate with Shopify. App-held authentication records are encrypted. BundleTally does not ask for your Shopify password.

Product information and saved rules

BundleTally reads fixed bundle products and their component relationships, product and variant identifiers and titles, selling prices, quantities and shop currency. It stores snapshots, the pricing rules you choose, update status, a queue of changes to check, and the latest 100 price events. These records let it calculate previews, apply approved or opted-in automatic changes, and offer eligible undo.

The merchant determines which products to manage and how their prices should be calculated. Where merchant-controlled catalog information is personal data, it is processed to provide the app under the merchant’s instructions. Do not add customer information to catalog fields for the purpose of using this app.

Information we do not request

BundleTally does not request customer records, orders, payment-card information or customer browsing history. It does not add a storefront tracking pixel, marketing analytics or advertising cookies. Shopify and the hosting provider may process technical request and security information, such as IP addresses, request timing and errors, to operate their services.

Subscriptions and support

Shopify handles subscription approval and billing. BundleTally checks the shop’s active app subscription and plan items to determine access and product limits, including valid no-charge testing contracts. It does not receive your card details.

If you email support, we receive your email address, message and attachments. We use them to respond and handle related correspondence. Avoid sending customer data, passwords or access tokens.

Purposes and providers

Information is used to perform the app service, authenticate requests, maintain its security, provide support and manage the business relationship. Where applicable, processing relies on performing a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, or legal obligations. We do not sell app information or use your catalog to train AI models.

Shopify supplies the commerce platform, authentication and app billing. Vercel supplies hosting and private encrypted Blob storage; the app’s configured hosting and storage region is Frankfurt. The support mailbox uses Microsoft Outlook. These providers may process information through their infrastructure and subprocessors, including outside your country. Their applicable terms and data-processing arrangements govern that processing; the Frankfurt setting is not a promise that every provider activity remains in Germany.

Retention and deletion

Saved app records are kept while needed for the installed service; price history is limited to the latest 100 events. On uninstall, the app removes its saved product snapshots, rules, history, queued work and authentication sessions. A minimal inactive installation marker remains to reject late deliveries until Shopify’s shop-redaction request removes it. Prices already written to Shopify remain part of the merchant’s catalog.

Shopify’s mandatory privacy requests are authenticated and handled by the app. Customer requests have no customer records to export or erase because BundleTally does not request those records. Support correspondence and necessary business/security records are retained for handling the request and applicable legal or provider retention requirements. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data, object to processing, and complain to a data-protection authority. Contact the privacy email above. We may need to verify the request and distinguish information held by BundleTally from information controlled by Shopify or your merchant.

Changes

Material changes to these practices will be reflected in this policy with an updated date.
